Course costs: £55/£50 conc.

This course is taking its cue from Greta Thunberg and will be loosely themed around eco and environmental issues. We will look at writing by Kathleen Jamie and other Scottish nature writers.

Each participant will receive a free writer's notebook, a novel, a poetry book, and there will be a group lending library scheme to enable participants to read one book related to the course per week.

An end of course exhibition of work will display eco-writing by group participants.

The fee is £40 for the block or £7 per session and should be PAID IN ADVANCE,

either cash or a cheque made payable to ‘THE HIGHLAND COUNCIL’ to the Macphail Office.


Martin has been practising yoga since 1990 and became a qualified Iyengar Yoga teacher in 1997.  As a teacher member of Iyengar Yoga (UK) he is entitled to use the Iyengar Yoga Certification Mark which indicates that he is properly trained and qualified to teach yoga using the Iyengar method.  His classes are unsuitable for those who are pregnant.  If you have any medical conditions, please speak to him in person or telephone him on 01571 855 360.  Note that Yoga therapy is not undertaken in any of the classes.  More information at www.gorrell.co.uk
